Some of our Customers
Some of my amazing customers ive met along the years!

Ellen Winkler
I met Ellen Winkler of Ellen's Interiors
in 1999 during the NY Home Textile Show at Javits Center.
It was a busy and great time to do business.l can't remember how many times I visited Ellen at
New London, NH. We must have done 50-60 custom and program rugs. This was a photo during Tibetan
Rug presentation at the showroom.
Currently residing in Florida, I got a call asking for a custom rug even in her retirement.
Another time, during the recession in Feb 2009, I got 8 rug orders from Ellen Winkler.
It felt like an order coming from heaven.
Darl Grooters
One of the most successful Interior Designer In the Chicago area, Darl works with some of the most Wealthy and demanding clients. One call from Jamie Burrfield, Darl's associate, in 2007 began a long business relationship. We made so many custom rugs, we forgot the counts of how many we made. For one residence; we made probably 6 runs, and a few more big rugs, all delivered and installed right before Thanksgiving.
Another project involving rugs for the CEO of Big Mac residence In Florida. Some huge rugs we made. Finally, we made one rug which was over 350 lbs UPS would not deliver to the residence since it was so heavy. Darl had to arrange a delivery company to manage it

Stickley Furniture has been my
Numero UNO customer. We are the first UNO customer. We are the first make
Stickley Designer Rugs Collection. Stickley is located at Manlius, NY and has over 20 showrooms.
Together with Hamid Kamal, Rug Manager and Eric Rowels, we developed successful Collection selling for over a decade. I personally developed Design SOHO reflecting the Arts & Crafts Movement in contemporary style. I would visit Stickley. during the High Point Furniture Show and visit showrooms to tell our side of the rug making story.
Hamid retired and Eric moved to another venture.
Time moves on, but the memory of good time stays on.

Karen Beckwith
A great salesman, me, visiting
Karen Beckwith at Berkshire, Massachusetts.
This was during Covid time as wearing a mask for safety. As you can see, I was showing different quality rugs. Some shaggy, 150 knots silk rug and other samples.
Karen has been a good friend, very creative and attention to detail. We did more than 40 rugs during the last 15 years since I have known her.
I remember an incident when it was taking so long to complete the custom rug. I shared a photo of a factory owner who has been hospitalized. Everyone has a story to tell. Sharing them is an amazing human endurance. After all these years, we are still getting calls for more custom rugs.

In California. So he is biking along the West Coast on Highway 101. You never know what surprises you. We did lots of custom rugs. There were times when we sold 4-5 rugs in one week. Do good in life. And you can enjoy the memory one more time in retirement.

Tiftickjian Rug
Cris from Tiftickjian Rug in Buffalo, Upstate New York. Cris is my fellow New Yorker we usually meet during the Atlanta Rug Show. In the background is the Design Posey Terracotta in 8ft x 10ft of 100 knots wool & silk quality. One time I drove 15 hrs from NYC to Buffalo and back the same day. We talked about the good old days when there were only a few Tibetan rug dealers like Tufenkian, Tamarian, us and maybe 1-2 more. How time flies? I still get emails from Cris about new patterns and qualities.

Talbot Oriental Rug
Here is my friend Kirk Ross from Talbot Oriental Rug in Maryland. Kirk used to work at Chestertown, Maryland. We met in 1999 at our showroom in Manhattan. Kirk disappeared for few months only to get a call saying he opened his own store about 50 miles south. So we started Our friendship. After 25 years, Kirk is looking at 7 runners we delivered for his client and all of them came out perfect. It is always good to see him smile. We have probably done over 40-50 custom rugs over the last 2 decades.
